From Ontario, Canada, sometimes off Lake Ontario and at other times Charleston Lake, I produce functional ceramics for everyday use. Each piece is made in small batches, carefully hand-cast, finished, and glazed. I formulate my own glazes and clays from the natural raw materials, taking inspiration from my environment; with the colors and textures found by the lake.
Sustainability and RecyclingIn my home studio, I try to make sustainability central to my practice with paying careful attention to recycling and minimizing waste and energy.
